About Taxgirl

Hello All: I have been a tax accountant for fifteen years and recently went back to school to finish my accounting degree with an emphasis on forensic accounting. I am looking to utilize my skills in corporate fraud and white collar crime. I have a keen interest in criminal law and have paralegal skills to help my clients get the best help given their various situations. I am hoping to get a grant or enough money to pay for law school when the time comes. I have a wealth of knowledge to share about any kind of business, or start up project. If you need advice, I'm here to give it to you. I have no patience for "takers", those who are a drain on other people without ever trying to help themselves. I would rather see a world of "givers", who are willing to help with their time, effort, money, and who are contributors to blogs such as this one. It is important to remember that the more you give (time, resources, credit, labor) the more you will receive in the long run, (better sales, more business, more avenues to expand your world). It's a good thing to remember in this economy. Good luck to all.

About Discount Queen

Hi my name is Theresa.  I have over 20 years of experience in many different facets of Customer Service.  The moniker "Discount Queen" is because I LOVE to shop for bargains.  I LOVE seeing how much I can get for my "dollar," and not because I can or can't afford something, but because it's fun for me.  I could have as much money as Donald Trump or Oprah Winfrey and I would still "hunt" for bargains because for me it's like a "game."

One of my passions is research, so I am very adept at researching nearly any subject.  I love to help others have a better life.  I don't believe in giving people hand-outs, but I do believe in lending people a hand.  Nearly everyone at some time or another could use some help in their life.

One of my favorite websites that is a good example of this is www.kiva.org Here people from other countries are seeking loans to start or expand their business.  Everyday people like me can make loans as small as $25.00 to help these folks meet their desires.  This is not a charity.  People you loan money to have to pay it back.  You don't earn interest, but you know you've helped someone.  So I really like this site.

I'm glad to have now found Aidpage because I like the idea of helping others find sources of help and not charging them for this help. I think this is a great idea, and I hope my skills will prove beneficial to people in need.

Attention Seeking Sales Specialists for Independent Contractor Positions in Orange County, CA.

I have another opportunity right now for people who live in the Orange County area of Southern CA.  I own my own business and I am gearing up for Tax Season.  I am seeking people who want to work as Independent Contractors in the position of Sales Specialists.  Your "job" would be referring people to my office so I can prepare their tax returns.

Your pay is based on your performance:  No clients= no pay.  Lots of Clients=Lots of Pay.  The position pays commissions from 15% to 30% of each tax return that's processed.  Refer me 126 paying clients...You earn around $4600...send me 200 clients..your earnings jump to $9000, send me 400 paying clients and your earnings jump to $21,000, and so on.

Offering my skills

For anyone who is interested, I am a home-grown computer geek. I can troubleshoot, cable, HD, cable modem, software/computer problems and can usually make informed suggestions on what could be the problem.

I'm also a writer, publishing on associated content.com since 2006. I do reviews, commentaries etc. I am an herbalist, so there are a few natural healing articles as well. off the top of my head I can list about 5 herbs for just about anything. I dont claim to be able to heal people, but I can and will help.

My youngest is allergicve to wheat so I have some experience getting around that, if anyone needs input, advice or recipes.

Just let me know what I can do to help.

Description

The Research to Aid Persons with Disabilities (RAPD) program supports research that will lead to the development of new technologies, devices, or software for persons with disabilities.?? Research may be supported that is directed to the characterization, restoration, and/or substitution of human functional ability or cognition, or to the interaction of persons with disabilities and their environment.?? Areas of particular recent interest are disability-related research in neuroscience/neuroengineering and rehabilitation robotics.?? Emphasis is placed on significant advancement of fundamental engineering and scientific knowledge and not on incremental improvements.?? Proposals should advance discovery or innovation beyond the frontiers of current knowledge in disability-related research.?? Applicants are encouraged to contact a program director prior to submitting a proposal. Undergraduate Engineering Design Projects are also supported, especially those that provide prototype "custom-designed" devices or software for persons with disabilities.?? The education of undergraduate engineering students is enhanced through Undergraduate Engineering Design Projects' awards supported by the RAPD program.?? Characteristics of undergraduate engineering design projects to aid persons with disabilities include: The primary goal of this activity is to provide a meaningful design experience for the engineering student that will directly aid a specific individual with a disability.?? Undergraduate student engineers or engineering technology students develop prototype "custom-designed" devices and software in this regard. The PI and the students work with institutions providing care or education for individuals with disabilities.?? The proposal must include a short description of ten possible design projects.?? These projects should be suitable for an undergraduate student, or a small team of students, to complete in about one year.?? The proposal should include a letter of support from an appropriate administrator of an institution providing care or education to individuals with disabilities.?? The letter should certify that the institution and the university will work cooperatively on the design projects. The PI provides an annual report that includes a description of the successfully completed design projects during the previous academic year.?? Each PI is expected to implement a high percentage of projects each year.?? It is also expected that the projects will contain appropriate levels of quantitative engineering analysis. The duration of unsolicited awards is generally one to three years.?? The average annual award size for the program is $80,000.?? Small equipment proposals up to $100,000 will also be considered and may be submitted during these windows.?? Any proposal received outside the announced dates will be returned without review. For the RAPD program, the duration of Undergraduate Engineering Design Projects is three to five years.?? The average annual award size is $25,000.?? Any proposal received outside the submission window will be returned without review. The duration of CAREER awards is five years.?? When Pigs Fly

Hi eveybody, I haven't been participating lately but I'm back.  I hope everything is ok or at least better.  I have been on the computer hours a day learning about the system and how to work with it and where to get help for a lot of things.  If I can help anyone research an agency for help please let me know, I'll do my best.

I was having a hard time getting a job down here in Miami without being bi-lingual but I ran accross a system that taught me so quick and easy I now have to turn jobs down, if this is one of your problems about getting a job, let me know.

Well anyway I was just checking in.

I am a returning nontraditional student.  I had some trouble some years back and went through an illness.  But am doing pretty well in a university now; I'm making A's and a few B's.  I have big dreams, a big heart, and a lot of determination.  I'm working toward a double major in Biology and Liberal Arts.  The illness caused my GPA to drop and I'm having to retake some courses that I didn't finish, however, once I get there, I plan to maintain a 3.5-4.0 and go to med school.  I'd like to go to a underdeveloped country and work and may do this on a tempory basis regardless.  If I were to remain in this country, there are many options.  I'd like to work in a smaller comunity where doctors are scarce, and I am interested in forensics and may become a forensic pathologist and work on crime scenes.  Thanks

Needed Grant Money to fund work from home information for others

I have been trying for 3 years to find a legitimate work from home business to support my 2 children.  I have exhausted all of our funds and still have not found one that does what it claims to do.  I do however have a lot of information.  I would like to research one more field in the work from home business, which is drop shipment sales with internet access.  I don't have the money to purchase a few of these opportunies nor do I have the funds to pull together all of the information I have already purchased.  I would like for others not to have to go thru or spend what I have.  I also have the ugly truth about grants and would like to publish an information booklet on this also.  The divisions I have information on regarding working from home are MLM's, online surveys, the pyrimad scheme, stuffing envelopes, secret shoppers.  I have 15 years of office managment experience.  I fell upon ill health about 3 years ago and it is hard for me to leave my house.  My experience is in the insurance industry and I have yet to get a work from home position in medical claims.  Even though I have several years of experience I still am unable to find a company that does this for home workers.  This program cost $450.00 but supposedly they help you find doctors that will use your service.  I would like to check into this also.  If someone could please help me or send me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it.  It has been one circle after another with no light in sight.  Thank You for your help and time.  God Bless Stephanie
